Your program is so detailed! I think everything you have listed is very important, and that you have assigned daylighting and ADA requirements is definitely a step ahead for when/if we get into SD and DD. I can tell you put a lot of thought into your programmatic choices.

I am wondering how much of these items can be implemented on a college finances. The exercise space is nice but wouldn't you agree that we get enough walking when we are there? I do agree that it would really be nice. So much so, that I would not see a need to leave. LOL

Tim,

I am looking at my multi-user goals for some of these spaces as well. By adding a few amenities I can cater to a greater user group and make the building more efficient in its hours of use. If the building was only used for the Dist. M of Arch, that might be the greatest waste of resources of all.

Tim, concise description, table and diagram. I like the multi use idea. What does that mean for entrances / security? A few items that make me pause: gym centrally located, faculty offices (they could also just be a series of private meeting rooms?

Yes, Good point I hadn't thought the offices through all the way. Perhaps they could be within the transition zone between the residential and studio spaces in an effort to serve the muliple user functions that I want to promote.

The rec room/gym should not be central to the entire program; just central to the residential area. I may be missing your point...
