Shell Design Progress



I am getting there with Revit. I'll have alot of progress over the weekend.

Tim looks like you are taking an indepth look at the structure and how you are going to build this thing. Are you still going to stay so rigid? and If so can you think of a structural system that could be more expressive, then in turn creating a more transparent skin to help show off not only your expressive structural system but also the way people use your building?? Just some ideas...The good thing about revit is you can work with your spaces and plans very easily but be able to really grasp them by hitting the 3 dimensional button. Don't let the program dictate what you do though..that can be easy to do....just sketch out and think about what you want to do then try to fig out the best way in the program to make it happen. Don't hesitate to ask either...I may be able to help, and or anyone else using the program too!

Thanks Kyle, I found what you said to be tru so I swithced to laying out the spaces in AutoCAD and will probably not return to revit until I am happy with the design.
