Tim, I think these plans propose now very livable spaces, functional and rational, but still with some very nice surprises (open to below, rain garden, series of differentiated shared spaces). It reminds me of the clean design approach of a bauhaus (always a good starting point). If you could get an enclosure for your stairs in an emergency (hold-open doors, fire shutters, etc.) that would be appreciated.
