Tim, don't be shy, there are many ways to get to the finish line (sketch-up is not the only one): print, render by hand, scan. print to pdf, import to photoshop, go to town.
Yes, you are right, thanks. Well, right now I am making a built model. My brain seems to be mush though. I need to stop making mistakes in the layout of the plates. Will post photos tomorrow. I'll worry about the rendering after I finish the model. "Semper Fi" to borrow from the Danes.

Thanks. I'll start rendering as soon as I finish building my model. I NEED to learn sketch-up. But not now.
