The exterior envelope shall consist of clay tile rainscreen and metal panel rainscreen with storefront framing with operable awning windows to accommodate natural ventilation. The towers are capped with louvers for stack effect ventilation and skylights for natural downlighting.
Tim I would show some railings and vegetation so that your elevation reads more three dimensionally- I think you would be able to see the gardens from the street.
Tim, some shadow (even fake one!), or color would help articulate the 3d. Why are the corners articulated in the same way as the stair towers? Are both part of the ventilation system? Could you make your parti read better in the north elevation by stretching the towers and integrating the corner articulation in the cubes? Could the balconies and the windows behind become more the equivalent of the corners?
I was using them as part of the daylighting and ventilation stack affect. They may not need to be treated in the same way if you feel they are problematic. They actually return apound the east and west corners which will distinguish them from the stair towers which are flanked by metal rain screen panels. I know this is not apparent unitl I complete those elevations.
Tim, as much as I will grade the effort, I'm not the client. I will take into consideration your reaction to comments; if you can explain and succesfully defend a solution you get the prize, no matter what I think about the actual solution.
I have redesigned the corners. They are different in function from the the splines that create the cluster affect of masses and should be treated differently.
